I am a retired dentist who took up art 5 years ago.  I had no previous classes in art or art history..  My daughter took me to Uptown Art where everyone paints the same picture and some drink wine.  By the end of the night everything looks good.  Seriously, I really enjoyed that night and decided to take some art classes.  I  found something fun to do and it filled my retirement days, along with gardening and travel.   I think my painting has definitely improved from that first class in Dec. 2014.  I am loving it.  All my paintings are shown on these pages with the newer ones at the top of each page.
